Class created to awake and stimulate deep healing and restorative resources of our body. We start with movement and stretching, intended to break usual energy blockages, followed by breathing techniques which stimulate relaxation response in the body. The class continues through prolonged yoga nidra (yogi sleep) equivalent to two hours of sound sleep during the night.
Combination of stretching, breathing, conscious relaxation and mediation sooth the nerves, calms intense and noisy minds (mental cleansing) and relaxes muscles and connective tissue helping parasympathetic nervous system to take over its natural role.
The class is ideal retreat without going away and serves as a rejuvenating and detoxifying tonic for whole body.

After initial consultation, the class is designed to suit students individual needs.
Typical class starts with asana practice which strengthens the body while increasing flexibility.
Intensity and sequence of postures (asana) will reflect student's current strength and flexibility with stiff or weak areas receiving special attention. Once the body regains energy, stamina and resilience, the student will move to the next level of asana practice.
Students are introduced to more advanced techniques with significant work in the area of mind and prana (energy). Breathing techniques are carefully taught with detailed explanation of their effects on the body.
Next level is meditation practice, introduced through deep relaxation method of yoga nidra which can be continued with guided meditation of 3-20 minutes.
